A little bit of introspection...

It's easy to get so caught up with the various things that happen in our lives that we fail to take a step back and look at where we're headed. This failure to introspect leads to a bunch of problems - a gradual degradation of previously-held morals, straying away from our behavioural ideals, losing track of what sort of people we're turning into.

But life often feels like a ceaseless onslaught of dilemmas. For better or for worse, we make choices almost constantly in our daily lives that felt the most right to us at that point in time. So I think it's really rather unfair to look at one person's actions at a particular point in time and judge him or her for that. Life is messy, and we often make an even bigger mess of it by trying to do things that would somehow bring us closer to what we hope our lives to be.
